DESCRIPTION:

46 year old female with a history of left breast DCIS and BRCA 2 positive.

Procedure – Patient underwent bilateral mastectomy and a two stage implant based reconstruction. The first stage involved immediate insertion of tissue expanders and placement of alloderm. 4 months later after full expansion, the patient underwent tissue expander removal and placement of permanent Allergan silicone smooth round implants.
