DESCRIPTION:

Patient is a 62-year-old woman with a history of right breast cancer. She initially underwent bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy with breast reconstruction using her own tissue from the lower back (LAP flap). After the right breast flap unfortunately failed, she elected to undergo right breast reconstruction using tissue from the abdomen (extended DIEP/SCIP flap). The results shown are after a subsequent revision with fat grafting.
