DESCRIPTION:

Patient is a 50 year old woman who was diagnosed with right breast cancer. She elected to have both breasts removed and breast reconstruction using her own tissue . Her staged breast reconstruction journey included:

Surgery 1: Bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy with tissue expander placement

Surgery 2:  Bilateral breast reconstruction with DIEP flaps (her own tissue).

Surgery 3: Revision with liposuction for optimal aesthetic results.
